Letter, 1716 November 8, Green Spring, Virginia, to William Blathwayt.

Thanks Blathwayt for sending deputation for John Grymes to become deputy auditor, but Governor Spotswood has refused to admit him in conjunction with Peter Beverley. Ludwell comments on Spotswood's opposition to his 1715 audit of the quitrents and his refusal to accept it. Ends letter suggesting that he be reappointed auditor.
